Dick LeBeau was chosen by Troy Polamalu to be his presenter at this year’s NFL Hall of Fame induction ceremony. LeBeau coached as the Steelers defensive coordinator for 11 of the 12 years of Polamalu’s career in Pittsburgh. Polamalu won defensive player of the year in 2010, was a First team all-pro safety 4 times, went to the Pro Bowl 8 times, and won 2 Super Bowls with the Steelers.
LeBeau is a Hall of Fame player himself, as he played with the Lions from 1959 to 1972. Once retiring from his playing days and picking up the coaching position. He was considered one of the best assistant coaches throughout the whole NFL. Terrible towels will be waving at this year’s hall of fame induction with Polamalu, Alan Faneca, Donnie Shell, Bill Nunn, and Bill Cowher all getting enshrined.
