Jacob deGrom has been all but unhittable this season for the New York Mets. He has pitched 64 innings in 10 starts this season and has a crazy 0.56 ERA, 0.53 WHIP, 103 strikeouts, and only 8 walks. His record his 6-2 with 1 shutout also. Last night, he faced off against Blake Snell and the San Diego Padres. deGrom recorded 6 innings with 10 strikeouts along with some damage done from the batters side of the plate. deGrom hit a 2 run single in the 5th innings which ended up being the hit the Mets would need to win because the final score was 3-2 Mets. deGrom has recorded 5 RBIs this season at the plate and has only given up 4 earned runs ALL SEASON! This stat is the most unbelievable thing I’ve ever heard. It’s not like the season just started. We are about a 3rd of the way through the MLB regular season and for deGrom to be putting out stat lines like this is just unheard of. Here is a look into his 2 run single last night vs the Padres that ended up sealing the win for the Mets…
