Wisconsin QB Graham Mertz reveals trademarked logo ahead of name, image, and likeness laws going into effect July 1

Starting QB Graham Mertz recently released a video on Twitter of his own trademarked logo built around his initials. Graham is taking advantage of the new name, image, and likeness laws taking place July 1st. Wisconsin announced earlier this month that they have partnered with Opendorse to launch the Youdub program, which is designed to assist players in capitalizing on their name, image, and likeness. The reality is that college athletes are entering a new era and it’s important for them to be fully educated on brand deals and how to approach this new opportunity.
