The Suns and the Bucks will compete for the 2021 NBA Championship starting this Tuesday! What a wild ride it was for both teams to get there. The Suns are 12-4 this postseason and are playing some of the best basketball that they’ve played all year. Chris Paul has been putting up productive numbers this postseason and center Deandre Ayton has also been a huge part of the Suns success.
The Bucks had a more rocky path to the NBA Finals…after sweeping the Heat, the Bucks beat the Nets in 7 games and then had to get by the Hawks which wasn’t easy for them either. The Bucks beat the Hawks in 6 Games thanks to Khris Middleton’s performance throughout the series. In the couple games that Giannis was out, Middleton averaged 29 points which led the Bucks and he came in clutch down the stretch in Game 5 especially. Without Middleton, the Bucks are not in the NBA Finals today without a doubt.
The opening line for Game 1 of the Finals is Suns (-6) and the OVER/UNDER is (217). The Milwaukee Bucks are trying to win their first NBA Title since 1971 and the Phoenix Suns are trying to win their FIRST EVER NBA Title! So, out of all these super teams that were formed in the NBA, this is what we get for the Finals. Personally, I think this is much better than it being Nets vs Lakers. It keeps an audience interested enough to actually at least watch the Finals. It gets repetitive having the same players in the Finals every year, so this Finals is refreshing to say the least.
Game 1 will be in Phoenix where the Suns have only lost 2 games this postseason. The Bucks are 5-4 on the road this postseason and will look to get off to a hot start in Phoenix since they will have a healthy Giannis back. So, Bucks or Suns??? WHO YALL GOT?????
