The Cubs won on a walk-off single from Javy Baez last night. Baez told Reds’ pitcher Amir Garrett all about it on his way to first…

The Cubs got a much needed win last night against their division rival Cincinnati Reds. After being down 5-3, the Cubs came all the way back and had a chance to end it with the bases loaded and one out in the bottom of the ninth. Javy Baez wasted no time and sent the first pitch he saw into center field to give the Cubs the 6-5 win over the Reds. What was even more exciting was what transpired after Baez hit the walkoff. Baez started mouthing off to Reds pitcher Amir Garrett to the point that players and coaches were forced to keep Garrett from going after Baez. Baez even seemed to kind of toss his bat at Garrett. Look out for some bad blood in games 2, 3, and 4 of this series, as these games are crucial for both teams playoff push.
