Now that the NBA is in offseason mode, it’s time for free agents to sign with teams. NBA teams began negotiating contracts at 6 p.m. ET on Monday August 2. There has already been plenty of activity among the NBA free agency. Star point guard Chris Paul opted out of his $44 million dollar option with the Suns and decided to sign a 4 year deal with Phoenix worth $120 million.

Jimmy Butler signed a max extension contract with the Miami Heat that pays him a total of $182 million over 5 years. Paul is now 36 years old.

Kyle Lowry will join the Miami Heat on a 3-year deal worth $90 million through a sign and trade agreement with the Toronto Raptors.

Mike Conley agreed to a 3-year deal with the Utah Jazz worth $74 million. Mike Conley is 33 years old.

Lonzo Ball is going to join the Chicago Bulls and sign a 4-year deal worth $85 million in a sign-and-trade agreement.

This is just a couple of the key free agency signings so far this offseason.
