Tim Tebow is once again a free agent after attempting to chase his dream of making it as a TE in the NFL. Tebow came out of retirement to to try and chase his dream which is admirable to say the least. It isn’t easy to go through these NFL training camps and Tebow had the courage to give a NFL career another shot. It seemed like it may be a perfect fit with Urban Meyer taking the head coaching job in Jacksonville, but it obviously wasn’t meant to be. Tebow’s first preseason game is what really costed him. A play went viral that shows him completely missing on a block. In addition, it has been reported that he wasn’t having a great camp prior to the Jaguars first preseason game.
Tim Tebow has came out since he was cut Tuesday morning and said, “Thankful for the highs and lows, the opportunities, and the setbacks, I’ve never wanted to make decisions out of fear of failure and I’m grateful for the chance to have pursued a dream. Thank you to the Jaguars organization and everyone who has supported me in this journey. And we know that God works all things together for good. Romans 8:28.”
